myMOBA: Underutilized Roles

When it comes to MOBAs, you will always have the tried and true benchmark character roles such as Damage, Tank, and Healer. From there, the roles noticeably diversify into various subcategories that decide what their primary focus and overall playstyle ends up becoming. These more specialized mechanics introduce a niche that players often form a very strong appeal to, however we’re convinced there’s many more possibilities that have yet to be discovered. This brings us to our latest question…

What roles do you feel other MOBAs are lacking?

We want to ensure Planet of Heroes has an appeal to everyone that chooses to play it. That is to say, they will find at least one character that they not only enjoy, but acts as their go-to pick without hesitation! Maybe you’d like better representation of more hybrid-styles, or you just know of an obscure role that’s been lost to the ages?

I would definetly like to see a ranged damage dealer carry or some high risk high reward type heroes

I was thinking about "Agility caster" hero for dota1 long time ago. So here goes concept: 1) It should have 1 or few passive (but conditional-activating) skill_s that for support team (maybe even buildings). i.e: enemy hero kill = repair ally building +5% (nvm. here, just tho) 2) 3 or more Hectic attacking skills (1 of them with self position controlling/escaping effect but atk side-effect) 3) Maybe 1 constant passive skill debuf enemy + small buff self

Would be nice if there was a class named "Switcher" that can change weapons and/or form and size. This class can be flexible but not is not as good as a pure class for exampls, a hero who can become a carry and then become a melee fighter but is not as good as a pure carry or as a fighter but still can be very versatile

Someone who like makes use of aura's in order to make himself/herself usefull, they may have some added effect on the cast of another aura but it should realy be like the aura is what counts not just a addition, giving him/her an aura that increases ur allies damadge by a procentage, letting em take reduced damadge, more movementspeed, or even as crazy as extra range or something,... i get that this could potentionaly be kinda boring but what if its like u place some sort of obilisk down that gives the effect and it can be like 3 shotted by an enemy making it so u can indeed have all at the same time but they can be destroyed easly, or just 1(+amount of other obilisks),having 2 next to eachother also makes it so the aura of one obilisk also gets given to allys withing the range of the other one. There is also a posibility of recasting the spell to get some crazy effect that negativily influences ur enemy, damadge, slow, take more damage,.... the obilisks stay on the map as long as they don't get destroyed, the ult could be like you use it and evry enemy can't leave the circle around the obilisks for a few seconds and the obilisks get invunurable.

In general, I feel like BARDS are the most underrepresented "class" in video games, although everything about them is fun and joking and inspiring and dramatic! But I wouldn't like a character that only plays songs and gives passive buffs...maybe all his attacks are AOEs coming from his body as the center....IDK something with bards, but not just a passive song slinger!

What about a ranged melee adc. A woman with a pistol and sword. Her passive trait causes her to deal more damage the closer she is to an enemy. Frin afar she uses her pistol. At close range she uses the sword.
